People ask me why I do what I do. There’s a few reasons, the biggest one is in the handful of photos below. That’s my mom and all I have left to remember her by, she passed away when I was 14. I don’t think this side of Heaven that I’ll ever be able to understand why bad things happen, such as losing a loved one. What I do know is that God has a purpose for every one of my life experiences and I trust Him to help me use all of that to help others.

I want to help others know that photos shouldn’t only be taken during a special session where everyone looks “picture perfect,” but every day, among the pure joy and heartaches of life. Make sure you’re also in those photos, Mom and Dad, trust me when I say your kids will want it someday, even if they roll their eyes at you today.

Then there’s the fact that I LOVE to tell stories through images! The first image that ignited my love for photography I took when I was 11 years old. My dad told me to just not look at the tree, but to feel what I saw. That’s what I still strive to do in my work, feel what I see and capture those feelings in your images. The memory of those feelings never end, even when life all around us changes.

My business is much more than just taking great images and being sure that my clients have a good experience that day. It’s about genuinely connecting with and caring about my clients, in good times and bad. It’s about simplifying their entire photography experience to help them have more time for the things that matter in their lives. It’s not just about the session itself, it’s everything from the first inquiry, to choosing what to wear, to ordering the highest quality products so that these memories can be preserved for generations to come!

All that being said, I really LOVE simple authenticity of real life connections! I want to see your smile, laugh, and connect with your loved ones. I want to help you see the beauty in the imperfections of your life and all that entails. Life is not perfect, but it is amazing in it’s beautiful chaos! Let’s be genuine together!
